Commissioned in 1993 in Infantry served in Korea and FT Drum, NY as lieutenant. Transitioned to Military Intelligence as a captain. Assigned to Ft Hood, TX and deployed to Bosnia, served as a Task Force Intelligence Officer, and as a company commander. Currently attending CGSC with follow assignment to a Military Training Team in Iraq.

Military awards: Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Meddal, Meritorious Service Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3rd award), Combat Action Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal (2nd award), Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal (2nd award for two campaigns), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal (Saudi Arabia), and the Kuwait Liberation Medal (Kuwait), Good Conduct Medal (10th award), Navy Unit Commendation (4th award), Meritorious Unit Commendation (5th award), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (4th award), Overseas Service Ribbon (4th award), and North Atlantic Treaty Organization Medal. Our Corliss High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Corliss High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Chicago are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
