Deployed to Iraq in 2004 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, providing exceptional logistics support for defensive and offensive operations. Applied knowledge of policies, programs, organizations, functions, resources, and legislation affecting the logistics programs to provided effective transportation and supply support.
Personally selected to serve in a variety of competitive and highly visible leadership roles. Managed transportation fleet of 20 vehicles and supervised a staff of four mid-level managers, dispatcher, four recovery personnel, and administrative staff.

Commander Renberg was commissioned in 1987 upon graduation from the U.S. Naval Academy. He served as a helicopter pilot from 1989-2003 completing deployments to the Persian Gulf, Red Sea, Mediterranean, and Atlantic. Commander Renberg later served as a Diplomat at the U.S. Embassy in Ankara, Turkey completing a 3 year assignment as the U.S. Naval Attache. He currently serves in the Defense Intelligence Agency located in Washington, DC. Commander Renberg is the recipient of the Combat Action Ribbon, Air Medal 1st Strike, and Kaman Life Saving Medal. He is married to the former Miss Julia Gontcharenok and has three children.
