Served as a mechanic,an logistician,Mechanical Maint Supervisor,Readiness NCO,Station Commander in Germany,Viet Nam 3 tours,Germany 2 tours,Fort Benning twice where I was in the 11AAD and the 2nd Infantry Div.Worked with Air America as a special assingment in Southeast Asia,Fort Bragg 5 times was there as fuel and elecxtric repairman,brake repairman,supply ,Motor Sgt,Ist SGT of Aviation Company and 5 Detachments,Was ithe first person assigned to the 556lmc at Fort Bragg and was the Commander for 60 days while waiting for the Company Commander to arrive

Rodeny Sarvis enlisted in the South Carolina National Guard in March of 1990. He is still currently serving in the Guard as a Military Policeman. He has served our City, State, and Nation during his tour of military service. His unit has been deployed several times following the attacks on our courty after 9/11. His unit was deployed to area Airports from Oct. 2001 - Nov. 2001, then to Ft. Stweart, Ga to conduct all Force Protection duties on that post from January 2002 - December 2002. Then two months later they were activated again and delpoyed to Iraq where they conducted Area & Convoy Security Missions form Feb. 2003 until Nov. 2003.
