Staff Sargent Joshua Reitz on tour in Afghanistan at present (2010). Has also done 2 tours in Iraq and a Humanitarian Tour in Nicaragua. Stationed at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Wife Amber and 2 daughters, Liberty and Delaney await his safe return.

Joined in May 1976. Trained as an Aircrew Survival Equipmentman, (fancy name for a parachute rigger), then as a Data Processing Techinician in the days of computers that took up entire rooms! Left active duty in 85 and stayed an active drilling reservist for the next 14 years. The Navy exposed me to many opportunities and challenges that I am ever grateful for.

Pilot rescue swimmer, small boat coxwain, leaison between Red Cross and Naval EMT training, physical training coordinator, implemented and ran triage senerios for downed aircraft. Did a whole lot of work on cleaning, painting, and maintenence on boat hulls. Yea!!!

Our Conneaut High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Conneaut High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
