About Diana M. Snyder, 51 years of age, of Concordia, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Cloud County Health Center in Concordia. She was born on April 13, 1960 in Bangor, Maine to Gerald Sr. and Luise (Tron) Brown. Diana graduated from Concordia High School in 1978 and then attended Cloud County Community College in Concordia. She married Brad Snyder on April 15, 2006 in Concordia. Diana worked at Elk State Bank in both Clyde and Concordia for 27 years. She was an Assistant Volleyball Coach at Concordia High School, coached summer softball, played intramural volleyball, and loved to volunteer. Diana enjoyed motorcycle rides with Brad, working on the house, and most of all, spending time with friends and family.



Diana is survived by her husband, Brad; 2 daughters, Aliss Lagasse of Topeka, Genae Lagasse of Baltimore, MD; 2 step daughters, Jamie Swanson and husband Erik of Knoxville, TN, Christine Snyder of Concordia; a step son, Justin Snyder of Clyde; 4 grandchildren, Ian, Raven, Jessica, Keegan; mother, Luise Brown of Concordia; a sister, Shirley LeDuc and husband Troy of Concordia; a brother, William Brown and wife Charity of Concordia; 2 sisters in law, Dee Brown of Concordia, Brenda McDowell-Porter and husband Lee of Vancouver, Washington; 3 brothers in law, Robert Snyder and wife Jean of Jefferson City, MO, Bryan Snyder and wife Sandy of Mansfield, TX, Steve Snyder and wife Dawn of Concordia; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; and a brother, Gerald Brown, Jr.



Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Concordia with Rev. Barry Brinkman officiating. Interment will be in the St. Concordia Cemetery in Concordia. Closed Casket visitation will be held from noon to 9 PM Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia with a vigil service at 6:30 Pm and family greeting friends from 7 – 8 PM. Memorials are suggested to the CHS Volleyball Program for a new Stats Board, the CHS Softball Program, and the Clyde Beautification Project.
