MOUNDRIDGE -- Dennis L. Thoman, 60, Moundridge, formerly of Concordia, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2008.
Mr. Thoman was born Feb. 3, 1947, in Denver to Ted H. and Nettie Jean (Carr) Thoman. He was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nettie Jean; and stepmother, Wilma Jean Hopkins Thoman.
Survivors include a daughter, Jannette Petz and husband Troy of Burrton; his father, Ted Thoman, of Jamestown; two brothers, Lowell Thoman and wife Mary Lisa of Concordia, and Greg Thoman and wife Kathy of Jamestown; a sister, Lisa Mosher and husband Steve of Clyde; and three grandchildren, Christopher Thoman, Destiny Petz and Eric Petz, all of Burrton.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, 325 W. Sixth, Box 606, Concordia 66901, the Rev. Dean R. Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Danish Lutheran Cemetery, Jamestown, with military honors by American Legion Post 76 and VFW Post 588.
Memorials may be made to Concordia Optimist Club or Harry Hynes Hospice.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
