~30 Year Reunion for the ConVal Class of 1979~
Greetings to the ConVal Class of 1979, Just a quick note to inform you that the committee working on the 30 year reunion this year has been busy over the past month and a half.
One thing that we need from most of the graduates of 1979 is current information in order to get in touch with you about reunion plans. We are in the process of sending out the first mailing, so if you haven't already done so, please email the following information to

Here is what we have planned. It is very similar to the 20 Year Reunion.
Friday July 17 - Golf during the day and impromptu gatherings at local establishments in the evening to be determined later.
Saturday July 18 â%uFFFD%uFFFD
Daytime ~ Hiking, swimming, kayaking and any manner of outings during the day to be determined later. We may rent MacDowell Dam for the day or these events may take place throughout the region.
Evening ~ **6:00pm to 11:00 pm a catered dinner and dancing with a live band at the Monadnock Country Club in Peterborough. This is open to all '79 classmates and their guests. Ticket prices to be determined very soon. At 8:00 pm we'll open it up to other classes that would like to attend with just a cover charge for the band.
Sunday July 19 - Smaller get-togethers with your friends.
**The dinner and dancing on Saturday July 18 is the only event that has been finalized. Contracts have been signed and deposits have been paid. This was the best date that we could come up with that would allow us access to the facilities that would best suit us when taking into account the size of the group and the weather. The other dates and events are ideas that weâ%uFFFD%uFFFDve discussed and as soon as we have them finalized we will let you know.

Policies/Rules: Alcohol – We allow alcohol, but no Kegs or Beer Trucks (yes, they do exist). Also, there is no glass on the beach. Aside form this be safe, and obey the laws. Trash – Aside from any charcoal used, it is a Carry-In, Carry-Out Policy. We do not offer trash disposal. The shelter must be picked up and any tacks, tape, etc used in decorating need to be removed (no permanent alterations are permitted) Misc – Open from 8-8 (you may decorate the shelter before hours) No Lifeguards on Duty No electricity (Generator is allowed) We offer horseshoes for the Pits and a Volleyball for the net

There will be light food, and a cash bar, music, and time to catch up with old friends. Please RSVP to me by December 1st so I can get a head count! If you are bringing your spouse please list that as well. I have reserved a block of rooms at the EF Lane as well for those of you traveling and wanting to stay over night.
