About	Colonie - Gail Mildred Ponzi, 68, passed into the arms of the Lord on Friday, September 29, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 21, 1949 in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Kathryn Bensley. She was a lifelong resident of the area, graduating from Colonie Central High in 1967. Gail fought a courageous battle with multiple sclerosis for 35 years and always lived to the fullest. She was a lover of gardening, her animals and most of all spending time with her family. Gail is survived by her children, Cher Devine of Colonie and Troy Ponzi (Carolyn) of Baltimore; siblings, Richard, Lorrie, Marie, Norma, Patricia and Kathy; grandchildren, Alyssa (Jeff), Devin, Jordan, Cierra (Sean) and Joshua; great-grandson, Jackson Carter; her lifelong best friend, Maryann Murray Wygel.
