Craig was born August 16, 1969 in Eau Claire to Jerold and Betty Lou (Hayes) Brown. He was a 1988 graduate of Colfax High School and attended Chippewa Valley Technical College for his CDL and diesel repair.

He married Amy Zwiefelhofer July 10, 1992 in Elk Mound. Craig farmed and worked in sales for Napa. He loved tractor pulls, and collecting old tractors, you could find him on the weekends at area pulls visiting with friends. He was a member of Red Cedar Tractor Pullers and Indianhead Pullers.

Surivivors include his wife, Amy; and daughter, Samantha of Colfax; one sister, Kelly (Anthony) Pember of Colfax; two nephews, Elijah and Jonah Pember; many friends and relatives.

Cynthia Jean Ronnander, 38, of Nenana went home to her Saviour on July 5, 2008, at Providence Alaska Medical Center, Anchorage, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. She is now at peace.
Cindy was born to Thomas and Mary (Nelson) Larson. She married Todd Ronnander on Dec. 22, 1990. She graduated from UW-River Falls with a bachelor's degree in education and taught English at Cumberland High School from 1995 to 1999. Cindy and her family moved to Nenana, Alaska, in 1999 where she taught high school English for the past nine years.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Todd; children, Mikhail, Mercedes and Hattie; her parents, Tom and Mary Larson of Colfax; brothers, Roger (Athena) Larson and their children, Stephanie, Remington, Hunter and Citori of Colfax, JohnThomas (Jenney) Larson of Elk Mound; grandmothers, Evelyn Nelson and Phyllis Larson of Colfax; parents-in-law, Duane and Irene Ronnander of Menomonie; sister-in-law, Sara (Ken) Breeggemann and their children, Katherine, Abigail and Caleb of Kannapolis, N.C.; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cindy is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Emil Nelson and Wallace Larson.

Dennis “Charlie” “Den-Den,” 33, of Bloomer passed away Friday, April 11, 2003, at his home surrounded by his family after a nine-month struggle with cancer.

Dennis was born on June 29, 1969, in Bloomer to Dennis and Jean (Swoboda) Schindler. He graduated from Colfax High in 1988. He married Kelli Mitchell on October 27, 2001, at St. John's Catholic Church in Cooks Valley. Dennis and Kelli owned and operated Kelli's Happy Hour in Bloomer. Before marrying Kelli, Dennis worked with his Dad at Cooks Valley Processing and was a fireman for the Colfax fire department. He was an avid hunter and dedicated card player.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Kelli Schindler; children, Krystal Ronnestrand and Leah Schindler all of Bloomer; his parents, Dennis and Jean Schindler of Colfax; one brother, Brady Schindler of Colfax; three sisters, Brigid (David) Shipman of Colfax, Mandy (Kim) Knutson of Colfax and Becky (John Ekblad) Schindler of Menomonie; his grandmother, Helen Swoboda of Eau Claire; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Dennis is preceded in death by one sister, Roxanne Schindler; grandparents, Harold and Bernice Schindler and Walter Swoboda; aunt Pamela Schindler.

Kim M. Ranney-Easley, age 41, of Eau Claire, WI passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009.

The former Kim Marie Ranney was born Aug. 20, 1968 in Amery, WI. She was the daughter of Edgar and Avis (Dutton) Ranney. Kim was raised in the Boyceville and Menomonie area and attended Menomonie and Colfax Public Schools.

After graduating, Kim lived in the Menomonie, Durand and Eau Claire area working at various jobs, including her part-time work at Chippewa Valley Tubs in Eau Claire for many years.

In her younger years, Kim was a member of the Cedarlings 4-H Club and she has been a life-long member of the United Methodist Church in Menomonie. Kim enjoyed hunting, four-wheeling, skiing, playing volleyball, cards, darts and pool; and she also enjoyed taking her scooter for a ride. She loved music and loved to sing Karaoke and was a big NASCAR fan. Kim will be sadly missed by her loving family.

Kim is survived by her husband, Jason Easley of Fall Creek; her sons, Dakota Ranney of Menomonie and Nelson Stewart of Durand; a stepdaughter, Rhiannon Easley of Fall Creek; her mother, Avis Ranney of Boyceville; a brother, Kent Ranney of Apple Valley, MN; a sister, Kris (Steve) Reid of Boyceville; her niece, Gina Ranney of Apple Valley, MN; aunts and uncles, Wendall (Mary) Ranney of Elk Mound, Richard (Fran) Dutton of Darien, WI, Dodie (Roger) Smith of Kenosha and Linda Dutton of Janesville; her ex-husband Tony Stewart of Durand. She is also survived by many cousins and other relatives and friends as well as her beloved cat, Kitten.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Ranney; an uncle; John Dutton; and an aunt, Diane Ranney; and her grandparents.

Robert Scott Jr., 18, of Wheeler, died Monday, April 3, 1989 in Eau Claire, WI, as the result of a car accident.

Bob was born October 26, 1969 to Robert W. Sr.and Ruth Ann (Plutshack) Scott.

Bob was 1988 graduate from Colfax Senior High in Colfax, WI.

Bob is survived by his parents, Robert W. Sr. and Ruth Ann Scott of Wheeler; brother, Ron Scott and a niece, Caitlin Scott of Wheeler.
