About	Rev. Doctor Harold Ray Webb passed away on June 1, 1998 following an extended illness, Wegener's granulomatosis-a form of vasculitis. At the time of his death he resided in Huntersville, NC. In 1969 he graduated from Mars Hill College and received a Master of Divinity degree in 1972 and a Doctor of Ministry degree in 1973 from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. He served as a pastor in North Carolina, Virginia and Puerto Rico. In 1982 he was appointed to the Home Mission Board and served in Trinidad, Colorado and came to Mecklenburg Baptist Association in 1986 to serve as Language Missions Director. His widow is Janet Boyd Webb (1966 Erwin graduate) who resides in Huntersville. They are the parents of Mark D. Webb and Candace Webb Bingham and six grandchildren (although Harold only knew three of them before his death). Harold was a good athlete and loved sports. During his 6 1/2 year illness, our motto became "Take one day at a time!"
