Mr. Blankenship taught Math at Erwin for many years. His wife taught at West Buncombe Elementary. He has been deceased for approx. 4 years now and Mrs. Blankenship is in a nursing facility according to Harold Rogers (Former Asst. Principal/Erwin). Posted in 2012.
