| About | Mr. Metcalf & Mr. Bill Williams were the Driver's Ed teachers during the time I was at Erwin ('79-'82). Mr. Metcalf is the brother of Louise Metcalf, who taught English. They drove from Burnsville everyday. Mr. Metcalf died around 1992. Miss Metcalf still resides in Burnsville. Posted in 2012. **UPDATE** Miss Metcalf passed away in 2021. Great guy! So laid back! I will always appreciate him riding with me and making suggestions while I learned to drive a car.
Super nice fellow with a great attitude towards young people who were not easy at times.
