About	Polly Lewis taught English at Erwin. Her daughter Stephanie is from the Class of '82. Mrs. Lewis also has a son named Tony. Mrs. Lewis & Inez Brown (Math teacher) were very close friends. Polly died from injuries sustained in a car wreck in Leicester. She passed away before her dear friend, Inez Brown, did. Harold Rogers (Asst. Principal) had to break the news to Mrs. Brown who took it very bravely as we would expect from such a stoic person. Posted in 2012.
