About	Marilyn, of Leicester, married Jerry Young who was also a student at Erwin. He was an architect before they became missionaries to Scotland. They lived over there several years and returned to Asheville becoming part of the team at Trinity Baptist Church. Jerry assisted Rev. Ralph Sexton (Sr. & Jr.) with the Missions and Marilyn was active in the church as well. She died from a brain aneurysm in the prime of her life. She was the mother of 3 children. (She was a cousin to Bobby Cox and Johnny Cox, both Erwin grads, now deceased.) She is survived by her younger sister as well as Jerry and the children.
