Diana Buckner Barr, 68, of Candler, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024 at the CarePartners Solace Center.
A native of Buncombe Co., Diana was a daughter of the late Opha Avery Buckner and Sarah Leonie Curtis Buckner.
Surviving is her husband, David Wendell Barr; son, Jonathan Barr and his wife, Amanda; grandchildren, Reese and Ellie Barr; and sisters, Kay Stephenson and Sandra Lunsford (Harry).
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8 in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with Rev. Josh DeHart officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
