About	Steven Kelley Edwards, 61, of Weaverville, passed away Monday, April 29, 2024. Born August 14, 1962 in Buncombe Co., Steven was a son of the late Woodrow and Suzi Edwards. Steven worked as a sales associate for Sherwin Williams, with 40 years of service. He was a member of Alexander Missionary Baptist Church. He was a kind, giving and loving person who didn’t know a stranger, who was loved and cherished by all who were honored and blessed to have crossed paths with him. Surviving are his sisters, Tami Gould (Sean), Maggie Alderfer (Tom) and Nikki Haney (Larry); brother, Mike Edwards (Kimberley); and numerous nieces and nephews, and several great and great-great nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Asheville Humane Society, 14 Forever Friend Lane, Asheville, NC 28806.
