Joshua Michael Lewis, 47, of Westminster, SC, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023.
Josh was born August 2, 1976, in Asheville, NC. He was a graduate of Clyde A. Erwin High School, Class of ’94. An expert salesman, he had a successful career with Farm Bureau Insurance and worked most recently as a real estate agent, having graduated from Cumbie & Trull Real Estate School, Asheville. He will be remembered for his larger-than-life personality and unwavering love for the Lord, having served several years with Gideon International.
He is survived by his father, William Ronald “Ron” Lewis (Linda Lewis); mother, Judy Surrett Lewis; wife, Kelia Rymer Lewis; children, Addison (Audra), Hailey (Michael), Lauren, David, Samuel and Jonah; granddaughters, Makenzi, Tinsley, Baileigh, Harper and Serenity; sister, Megan Morgan (Phillip Morgan); half-brother, Zach Lewis (Aimee Lewis); and many other family members and friends.
Josh was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, the Rev. Claude and Valerie Surrett; paternal grandparents, Bill and Leola Lewis; and step-father, Mickey Allen.
The graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at Green Hills Cemetery. The Rev. Dennis Thurman will officiate.
