About	Asheville – Faye Redmon Smith, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Memorial Mission Hospital. A native of Madison County, she was a daughter of the late Grover and Lillian Roberson Redmon, and wife of the late Edward A. Smith. Surviving are her sister, Helen R. Beck and husband Jim; brothers: Kenneth Ray Redmon and wife Elaine, James Ronald Redmon, Sr. and wife Rachel, and Richard Dale Redmon and wife Laura; nieces and nephews: Keith Redmon, Rodney Beck, David Beck and wife Becky, James Ronald Redmon, Jr. and wife Brenda, Andrew Redmon and fiancée Kayla, and Rebecca Cruikshank and husband Ross; great-nieces: Lillian Beck, Lillian Redmon, and Jacqueline Redmon. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Friday, April 14, 2023, in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Rev. Dr. Ronnie Owen officiating. Burial will follow at the Redmon Family Cemetery on Bear Creek Road. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12 till 1 PM at the funeral home. The Smith family would like to extend their sincere thanks to her caretaker of the past few years, Matthew Jenkins, for all his loving support.
