About	Sandra Grooms Riddle, long time resident of Greenville, SC, went to be with the Lord on October 28th with her loved ones by her side. Sandra was predeceased by her beloved husband of 56 years, Earl Riddle; her parents Berry and Doris Grooms; her brother, Eric Grooms, and nephew, Jason Grooms. Sandra is survived by her daughter Angela Day (Buddy); her grandson, J. Craig Day (Katie), her granddaughter, Maegan Pauley (Daniel); three great-grandsons, Jayden, Caysin, Colt; her sister, Janis Harkey (Jerry); special nephew, Todd Grooms(Misty); special niece, Shelly Snipes(Joel) and many other nieces, nephews, and close cousins. Sandra was born in Orangeburg, SC, on April 29, 1943. She graduated from Erwin high school in Asheville, NC, where her claim to fame was winning the NC bus rodeo competition. She loved the Lord and served Him faithfully for many years. She was a member of Unity Presbyterian Church in Piedmont, SC. She was a homemaker and very gifted artist. She loved her family and friends fiercely and was unshakable in her beliefs. The family would like to express heartfelt appreciation to her full-time caregiver Linda Patel for her love and care. Also, to Amedisys Hospice nurses for their special loving care to our Mom. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 12:45p.m. to 1:45p.m. at Unity Presbyterian Church with the funeral service to follow at 2:00p.m. Burial will be in Graceland East Memorial Park.
