About	Mary Patricia “Pat” Edwards Winkler, 79, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. A native of Buncombe Co., Pat was a daughter of the late Garrett and Mary Bernice Duckett Edwards. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Kelse Winkler. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Lander; sons, Bryan Winkler and Todd Winkler; grandchildren, Jessica Parrish, Noelle Lovoi, Christopher Matthews, Sara Reinecke, Sarah Winkler, Ellen Reinecke, and Maggie Winkler; 8 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Charlie and Gwyn Edwards. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with Rev. Brian Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hills Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service at the Brigadoon Clubhouse.
