About	Maurice Ralph “Chip” Elkins, 49, of Johnson City, TN passed away January 9th, 2014 at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville. He was born January 15th, 1964 to Christine Elkins McCurry. He served his country in the United States Army. He is survived by two sons, James and Michael; two daughters, Crystal and Rachel; and two sisters, Marcia Elkins and Tina Viveros. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 16th, 2:00 PM at the Western Carolina State Veteran’s Cemetery in Black Mountain with Ronnie Edwards officiating.
