About	Myra Austin, age 50, of Forest City died Sunday, March 30, 2014, at her home. She was a native of Buncombe County and was of the Baptist faith. Myra had worked as a paramedic for Rutherford County E.M.S. She is survived by One Daughter: Jordan Cantrell of Forest City, One Son: Andrew Powell of Forest City Three Grandchildren- Madison Powell, Wellsandra Hill and Emily Powell Parents-Earl and Marilee Austin of Asheville One Brother: Tracy Austin of Asheville Grandmother Galena Allison of Bryson City A private memorial service will be held at McMahan's Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rutherford County E.M.S. 339 Callahan-Koone Road Spindale NC 28160.
