About	Bryon Matthew Burrell, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on July 14, 2022. He was born on June 14, 1970 and resided in Leicester, NC. He is preceded in death by his father, Marion Burrell and mother, Iris Adams Burrell of Leicester, NC. He is also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Bobby and Jonathon Burrell and 2 sisters, Brenda Chasteen and Lisa Smith. Surviving are his children, Elizabeth Grindstaff (Derick) of Johnson City, TN., Bryon Matthew Burrell, II (Jessica) of Kingsport, TN., Nancy Marie Burrell of Johnson City, TN., and Joshua and Timothy Burrell of Salt Lake City, UT. Grandchildren, Shaylee & Jackson Grindstaff and Ashlynn & Jameson Burrell. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Lauretta Adams and siblings Tommy Burrell (LaDonna), David Burrell, Randy Burrell (Sheila), Marion Burrell (Teresa), and Kimberly Rodriquez (Arturo). Bryon is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as longtime friend, Brenda Wilson. A private family memorial will be held in Bryon’s honor on July 22, 2022 at Leicester Baptist Church. Asheville Mortuary is in charge of assisting the family.
