Ronnie Lee Suttles, 56, of Swannanoa, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at his residence on July 18, 2021. Ronnie was born on August 11, 1964, to Ramona Suttles, of Asheville, North Carolina, and the late Elmer Suttles, who passed away in 2013. Ronnie is also preceded in death by his sister, Debra Ara.
Ronnie graduated from Erwin High School. He was a bassist for the band “Rip Haven”, an avid Washington Redskins fan, and a doting Pops to all his grandchildren.
Surviving Ronnie is Vickie Suttles, to whom he was married thirty-one years; his children, Justin Suttles (Melissa), of Arden, North Carolina, and daughter, Ashley Suttles, of Swannanoa, North Carolina; brothers, David Ara (Kathy), of Lewes, Delaware, Stacey Suttles (Teresa), of Edneyville, North Carolina; sister, Victoria Suttles, of Asheville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Eden Suttles and Everly Suttles, both of Arden, North Carolina; nieces, Kelly Ara, of Lewes, Delaware, Siarra Suttles, of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Kayla White, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Ali Hulslander, of Lawrenceville, Geogia; nephews, David Ara (Melissa Schwarmann), of Lewes, Delaware, Brett Suttles, of Asheville, North Carolina, and Bobby Seraphine, of Laurel, Mississippi.
A service will be held at the Brookstone Church of Weaverville on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at 6:00 PM with Pastor Jim Dykes officiating.
