About	Kevin Thomas Meadows, 29, of San Diego, California passed peacefully in his sleep on April 26, 2014 at his home. Kevin was born June 15, 1984 to Dr. Michael E. and Karen M. Meadows in Greenville, Mississippi. Kevin graduated from Erwin High School, Asheville, NC in June 2002. He was awarded a B.S. in Business Management from UNC-Asheville in 2006. Kevin worked in retail management for Target and CVS Pharmacies for several years. He moved to the West Coast four years ago. Kevin is survived by his parents: Karen M. Meadows (Denver), and Michael E. Meadows and Aura Cecilia Salamanca (San Diego). Survivors include his siblings, Angela and Willie Baca (Fort Myers),Michael D. (Denver), Justin (Asheville), Matthew (Charlotte), and Adam (Atlanta); aunts and uncles, Stephen Meadows, Jeanette and Michael Rhodes, JoAnn Van Hall, James and Trecia Meadows, andDavid Meadows all of DeFuniak Springs, Catherine and Robert Jordan (Gainesville), Martin S. McKay (Chattanooga) and Michael B. McKay (Asheville) as well as many cousins, two nieces, and one nephew. Kevin is pre-deceased by grandparents Edward G. Jr. and Philomena Meadows of DeFuniak Springs, Robert S. McKay (Orlando) and Emma Temple McKay (Gainesville). A Memorial Service will be celebrated May 11th at 1pm at the Renaissance Asheville Hotel with Denise Anthes, Th.D. officiating. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in DeFuniak Springs, Florida on May 14th at 10 am at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church with Fr. Rick Dawson officiating. Thereafter Kevin will be laid to rest at Magnolia Cemetery. Floral arrangements are being accepted. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Cathedral in San Diego, California on July 5, 2014 for Kevin's family and friends there. Kevin's last post on Facebook on March 27, 2014 reflects on his journey through this life: "God does answer prayers." We ask for your good thoughts and prayers at this solemn time when we gather to honor Kevin's life.
