About	Janet Black Caldwell, 50, formerly of Leicester, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at her home in Raleigh. Born in Buncombe County on Nov. 17, 1961, she was a daughter of Carl E. and Patricia Prestwood Black of Leicester, and the mother of Matthew Keith Caldwell and wife Katie. She is also survived by her paternal grandmother, Lois Black, and maternal grandmother, Frances Prestwood; two grandchildren, Ethan and Kaitlyn; and her special friend, Trish Mary Anderson. Private interment will be at Payne's Chapel Cemetery, Leicester. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting with the arrangements.
