About	Karen Arlinda Chidlow, 51, of Candler, died Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at her residence. A native of Buncombe Co., she was a daughter of Arnold White and of the late Nellene Conard White. Mrs. Chidlow was a member of Gashes Creek Baptist Church, and she worked for Mission Hospital for 16 years. Surviving in addition to her father are her husband, Tiernan Chidlow; daughter, Rebekah Meadows Robinson and husband Dillon; step-sons, Cole and Travis Chidlow; granddaughter, Rayne Meadows; nieces, Maddison and Peyton Smith; and sister Kim Smith and husband James. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Hominy Valley Wildlife Club, 11 Sunray Cove, Candler, NC. The Rev. Ed Jennings will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tiernan Chidlow, 29 Captains Dr., Candler, NC 28715. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family
