Matthew Abraugh served 3 years on Army Active duty from February 2004 - February 2007. He fought for his country bravely and with great pride in Iraq from February 2005 - January 2006. After taking a year off from service in 2007, and moving to Ohio with his wife, he joined the Ohio Army National Guard for a year from October 2008 - October 2009. He reached the rank of Corporal(E-4) before finally ending his military service and focusing on furthering his college education.
