Favorite School Memory	Weekend parties at friend's homes. Intense discussions with friends about philosophical matters. Enjoying the snow: sledding, the quiet of the evening after a snowfall.
About Me	I was in the convent for 4 years after HS and took many college classes while there. I then went to MVCC in Utica in the first RN associate degree program. I worked as an RN for a couple years. After marriage and raising 3 children we got divorced after moving to CA. Before the trek to CA in our station wagon with 3 children, 2 dogs, 3 birds, and 3 gerbils (not allowed in CA), we lived in VA, MD, NJ, and MA. We enjoyed sailing on the Chesapeake in years before children. I volunteered for Boy and Girls Scouts, and at a MA school craft center while our children were growing. I completed a BS in Environmental Sciences at San Jose State U. in CA, then worked as an RN in skilled nursing facilities. Along the way I became certified in wholistic healing: massage, Reiki, hypnosis, Focusing, the Rubenfeld Synergy method and other healing arts, and developed a private healing practice in Silicon Valley. I also completed my MA degree in clinical psychology in 1997. I moved to an area south of Sacramento to work for a social service agency serving the homeless population with major mental illness. I took a few years off to buy, rehab and re-sell houses. Then these past few years I returned to nursing as Director of Nursing in Skilled Nursing Facilities. I enjoyed lots of travel, a few Caribbean cruises, and outdoor sports along the way, including hang gliding (but not solo).
