My granddad delivered mail @ penfield jct. 1936 to 1946 he knew everyone. Like when my mother passed 3/17/51 that following year I attended east carlisle, where Mrs Alexander was a teacher, there. I, was he--, but knowing my grandad she tried to keep me straight! then the following years i would return a year behind with her son Jim, and in the first house behind Holloways store she and Jim were my friends, As, i told her being bored, I would get involved with race cars, at 14, and also the previous machine shop teacher, Mr. Thomas. my son has a degree and runs the company, here in town.
