About Me	I live in Hastings On Hudson, NY with my wife Jeanne and our dogs, Milo, Akasha (German Shepherds), and Halligan (Belgian Malinois). We have been married since 2006. I have two daughters from a previous marriage who live with their Mother in Grand Rapids, MI. Meagan who is 22 and Madalyn who is 19. I am a career firefighter with the Greenville Fire District in lower Westchester County in the Town of Greenburgh. I transferred there in November of 2000. Prior to that I was career firefighter in the Lake Mohegan Fire District in Northern Westchester County (Towns of Yorktown and Cortlandt). For 3 years (2006 through 2008) I was Union Vice President for the Greenburgh Uniformed Firefighters Association -IAFF Local 1586. Prior to entering the fire service, I worked for several environmental engineering/consulting firms as an environmental consultant. In my spare time my wife and I train our dogs. All dogs train and compete in Nosework. Nosework is a test of the dogs ability to search and find hidden odor targets. The dogs are train with similar techniques as working detection dogs, except they are trained for birch, anise and clove odor. I also train Halligan for French Ring. French Ring is a European Dog Sport, similiar to KNPV, Belgian Ring and Schutzhund, that is used to the test the ability of a dog to work, and combines three phases o...(read more)
