About Me	When I left Clarence High, I went to college near NYC. I was there for only 2 years and was so, so, so close to flunking out. I was disillusioned. Joined the Church of Scientology, but only for 8 months. Got away from them and ended up in the Army Special Ops (1/1974-5/1977). Was almost sent to Vietnam (after the war) to pick up our dead. Luckily, I dodged that bullet. I stayed in the Army for 3 1/2 years and was stationed at Fort Bragg with the 7th Special Forces, Italy with the 509th Airborne and Bad Tolz, Germany with the 10th Special Forces. I got out of the Army in May 1977 and went back to college but this time at SUNY Brockport, Brockport, NY. Got engaged, that fell apart. Had various jobs at that time: mover, bartender, bouncer, toll collector, pool installer, warehouse manager, etc. In 1980, went to law school in Chicago and graduated in 1983. Reentered the Army in 1984 as a JAG officer and spend several years as a criminal defense attorney in the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg. Got married to another JAG. Wife and I were transferred to Seoul Korea for 2 years where we had a son (later a daughter). Came back stateside and was stationed in Washington DC, where I was medically discharged in 1991 (I had my hip replaced, which was the result of one parachute jump too many). Got a job as a tax lawyer with the IRS and have been doing that ever since. In the meantime, my wife and I separated, I got a motorcycle (cruiser -- 2003 Yamaha Roadstar 1600 cc), and took up scuba diving, skiing and skydiving. Broke my femur skydiving. New girlfriend rescued me and took care of me while I was incapacitated for several months. Moved in with my present girlfriend of several years - love her -- in her house (she is the one who took care of me). Still riding my motorcycle and will sooner or later...(read more)
