Events It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the death of Donald H. Peronne, 70, who passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 8, 2006 in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Don Peronne was born on March 8, 1936 to the late Herman and Mabel (Burg) Peronne in Clarence, New York.

A graduate of Clarence High School in 1954, he went on to graduate from General Motors Institute in 1959 with a degree in Industrial Management. Upon his graduation, Don worked several years for General Motors in various management positions followed by a highly successful career with Olin Brass as District Sales Manager for the New England Region retiring in 2001. Following college, Don joined the Army Reserves.

Don, a long-time resident of Cape Cod, Massachusetts was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. He was a long-time season ticket holder and proud member of the 'Red Sox Nation.' An excellent golfer and tennis player, he lived with his wife Joan in Naples, Florida during the winter months and Cape Cod in the summer months.

Don is survived by his wife, Joan McGraw Peronne, his cousin, Aldine Tarbell, her children Michael Tarbell (Cheryl), Lynne Tarbell Nawrot (David) and their children Nicole and Daniel Tarbell and Katie and Matthew Nawrot. Don was also sincerely loved by his wife Joan's children and grandchildren and became a 'grandfather' to the youngest grandchildren.

Visitation in Cape Cod for Mr. Peronne will be held on Friday, April 14, 2006 at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home at 475 Main Street, Falmouth, Massachusetts from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7pm to 9pm.

Don will be deeply missed by his family and many friends and will be fondly remembered for his enthusiasm for life and quick wit.
