Robert William Bergman passed peacefully surround by family away on June 19, 2025. Born April 6, 1939 in Lockport, N.Y. to the late Roy and Ruth (Roll) Bergman.
Beloved husband to Elizabeth (Betty Pagels) Bergman, the two married in Akron on April 27 1963. Bob was a 1956 Clarence High School graduate and a 4-H leader for many years. He was co owner with his father, Roy Bergman of the family farm, Rob-Roy Farm. After selling the farm, Bob continued his career working with Agway and the University at Buffalo. He loved country music, square dancing and participating in truck rodeos.
Loving father to Randall (Judy) Bergman, Keith (Gina) Bergman, Michael (Late Debbie) Bergman, Thomas (Amy) Bergman and Wendy Bergman; cherished grandfather to Timothy, Joseph (Savannah), Brian, Daniel, Lauren, Amanda, Christopher, Paul, Nevada, Andrew, Anna, Mary Grace and Tessa; proud great grandfather to Madeline and Matthew.
A visitation will be held at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron, NY on Tuesday, June 24 from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Teresa Church in Akron, NY on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 10 a.m. with a luncheon and burial to follow.
