Events	ROOT - Martin J. October 14, 2017; a lifelong resident of Clarence, NY; son of the late Arthur H. and late Eva J. (Elwell) Root; beloved brother of JoEllen (Peter) Swaine, David (Lora) Root, and Martha (Wayne) Dippold; also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and many friends. A Memorial Service will be Thursday 1pm at Zion Lutheran Church, 9535 Clarence Center Road, Clarence Center, NY; flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Marty was a Army Veteran from 1976-1978. After an honorable discharge from the Army he worked as a Surveyor before taking a job with the Town of Clarence in the Engineering Department.
