The family of Michael Jouvenat are saddened to announce his sudden passing after a brief battle with Stage 3 Lung Cancer on December 12, 2023. Michael loved growing up in Claremont with his wonderful classmates at Claremont High School. He thoroughly enjoyed the Claremont H.S. reunion July 2022. Michael attended Citrus College and spent over 40 years as a highly respected expert in property drainage and building enveloping, and was a frequent CREIA speaker - the secret to Michael's success was there were no strangers in his life, just people he had not met yet. Our wonderful, funny, intelligent, storytelling, positive force of nature Superman. Michael is sorely missed and loved by Ellen, stepson George, nephews Joshua and Jeremiah, and extended family. We wish to thank everyone who contacted us during this difficult time to express their sympathy which has given us great comfort. There will be a spreading of ashes at sea and a Celebration of Life in early June 2024 - we will update exact date and location - all are welcome. Please donate to the American Lung Association and the Sierra Club in Michael's memory.
