Was costing along in 1964 when low and behold came this Greetings from the president of the United States. Needless to say I spent 33 years in both the active and reserve side of the house. Had a great time in Nam 65' (just kidding) and went on from there. Managed to go all over the wrold many times (handled many transportation assets for many world wide exercises, i.e. Brightstar, Egypt; Big Red, England; Yama Sukuria, Japan; etc. Went to OCS in '68 and finally retired from Ft Lewis, Washington in '97 as a full colonel. Of my two sons, one has been deployed 11 times and is an Army Ranger (must be a record). May all take care. Best wishes. Ed
