| About Me | AUTISM is NOW an EPIDEMIC! 1 in every 95 children are diagnosed with it everyday! 22 years ago, when my son was diagnosed, it was 1 in every 10,000. What is going on??!! Why are they not any closer now then they were then in figuring out the cause?! I still live in Chula Vista after all these years. I did however live in Escondido for a few years, but came back to Chula Vista where my family and friends are. I have 2 grown children. My son Brandon is 25 years old and has autism. He is a very sweet and handsome young man. Although he has autism, he has a lot of language, a sense of humor, and an understanding that he is different. My daughter Bridgette, is 22, and is in the Air Force. She absolutely loves it! I wonder if it's because she is surrounded by members of the opposite sex??!! Hmmm?........ She just returned from Russia after 4 months. As for myself, I am divorced from their father but we remain friends.We Co-Parent our son.....
