Staying Power - Chisago City High School began in 1919. My Dad Irving Palmer was in the first grade. His teacher was Miss Elvice Bloom. When I started first grade in 1954 and at supper that night I asked my Dad who did he have for a first grade teacher. He said, your teacher Miss Bloom. Bruce
