About Honora Estelle (Pomije) Cunningham, 58 of Huntingdon, PA, and formerly of Binghamton, NY, passed away Monday, October 8, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Born June 1, 1954 in Waseca, MN, she was the daughter of the late Moira (Keenan) Pomije & Henry Pomije. Honora is survived by her loving husband, Michael J. Cunningham Jr. They were united in marriage on October 16, 2004 in Huntingdon, PA. She is also survived by her two daughters, Angela Collins and her husband, Michael of Vestal, NY and Christina Kulkarni and her husband Aditya of Endwell, NY; six grandsons, Bryan and Christopher Smith, Alex, Paris, Phoenix Stevens and Sebastian Kulkarni; and two great grandchildren, Brayden & Braylynn Smith. Honora is also survived by four siblings, H. William Pomije (NH), John Pomije and his wife, Barbara (DE), Moira Pomije (WA) and Michelle Pomije (NY); and also her uncle John Keenan (TN). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and dear close friends, Lela Frechette (NY), Sue Presutto (PA) and Charlene White (CA). Honora touched many lives throughout her life and was often called "Honey" or "Nonnie" by those who truly knew and loved her. Honora was a 1972 graduate of Chenango Forks High School and attended Broome Community College, both in Binghamton, NY. She was also a former member of the Chenango Ambulance Squad in Binghamton, NY. She worked in the health care industry for many years and was employed at Binghamton General Hospital in Binghamton, NY and Riverfront Medical Services in Vestal, NY; where she worked as a bookkeeper and then as an administrator. Honora enjoyed attending yard sales, visiting antique shops and working in her flower and vegetable gardens. She also enjoyed sewing, crafting and was an avid reader. She also really cherished spending time with her family.
