Age 53, passed away at York Hospital. He was the husband of Judy (Kovacs) Sleppy. The couple wed on October 9, 1993. Born March 14, 1961, in Pittsburgh, Steven was a son of the late Robert Charles Sleppy, and Dana Gay (Rose) Sleppy Pollitt and her husband, Don of Colorado Springs, Colo. He worked as a self employed general contractor for the past 19 years. Steven was a member of the American Legion Post 605. He enjoyed shooting pool, sailing, fly fishing, and traveling with his family. He was an organ donor and in doing so was able to help benefit over 100 people. In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Sleppy is survived by a son, Dustin Fitz of Littlestown; a daughter, Katie Chaddock and her husband, Josh of Napa, Calif.; three grandchildren, Cooper, Hudson, and Ryann Chaddock; two brothers, Curt Sleppy and his wife, Jane of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Craig Pollitt and his wife, Ester of Denver, Colo.; four sisters, Lorin Beesley of Colorado Springs, Colo., Julia Dunster and her husband, Patrick of Kidron, Ohio, Kathy Winkfiled and her husband, Richie of North Sutton, N.H., and Sarah Krider and her husband, Jack of Colorado Springs, Colo.; nephew, Sean Sleppy; niece, Erin Sleppy; along with other numerous nephews and nieces.
