Age 52, of Houston, TX, passed away on May 10, 2012, after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on August 20, 1959 to Ferna Lyker McDonough and the late Francis Albert Lyker. She is survived by her mother, Ferna Lyker McDonough; son, Taylor McCartney; stepson, Kevin (Ashley) McCartney; grandson, Aden; brothers, Frank (Roxann) Lyker and Robert Lyker; stepsister, Nancy (David) Pokorski; stepbrothers, Edward (Christie Boots), Thomas (Sherry) and David McDonough; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who mourn her passing. Lori was a selfless woman who faced trying times in life with dignity, courage, and grace, an outward example of her strong faith in the Lord. She was always thinking of others. Those who knew her drew inspiration from her strength, honesty and humor.
