Age 64, of Washington, DC and Rehoboth Beach, DE, after a long battle with cancer. Born in Kearny, NJ to the late William and Ruth Meyers, he attended Edison, NJ and Chartiers Valley High Schools and also Baylor and Point Park Universities. He spent most of his career in human resources management. Rick was an avid snow skier and beach lover, maintaining a home in Rehoboth Beach, where he died peacefully, surrounded by friends. Rick was predeceased by his partner, Philip Adkins, and his brother David Meyers. He is survived by his loving mother-in-law, Louise Adkins, sister-in-law, Alison Adkins Groene and a nephew and niece. Burial at Low Gap, NC.
