Ken was a passenger on a motorcycle driven by John Martorana when they were involved in a crash with a vehicle on Route 50. John died at the scene, but Ken died in Mercy Hospital a month later. Both young men lived in Bridgeville. Ken was only 19 years old. He was the beloved son of the late Viola and Herman Colussy and brother of Michael, William and Kathleen Colussy.

According to the newspaper article the car that hit these 2 young men was being driven by a 13 year old girl.
