Former Charlevoix resident Gordon B. Todd, 81, of Hayward, Calif., died Jan. 15, 1986, at a Hayward hospital.
Funeral is Monday, Jan. 20, at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward. Interment will be in a Hayward area cemetery.
Mr. Todd was born Jan. 6, 1905, in Petoskey. He was raised in Charlevoix and graduated from Charlevoix High School in 1924. He was employed by local businesses, including the Kroger Co. prior to becoming executive secretary of the Charlevoix Board of Commerce for several years. He moved to Florida in 1939 and later to Texas where he became associated with the Dr. Pepper Co. In 1952, Mr. Todd went to California as a national accounts representative for the company, a position he held until his retirement in 1973. During those years he resided in Glendale, Fresno and in 1962 moved to Hayward.
Mr. Todd is survived by his wife, the former Evelyn Helms; three daughters, Mrs. Donald (Barbara) Bellinger of Elk Rapids, Mrs. James (Janet) Williams of Big Rapids, and Mrs. Larry (Donalyn) McNeill of Sandy, Utah; nine grandchildren; four great-grand- children.
