Services for Charles R. Swartout, 68, of 2929 E. Main, who died Tuesday in Southside Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Desert View Chapel, M.L. Gibbons Mortuaries, 9702 E. Apache Trail.
Born at Cross Village, Mich., he was a marine engineer and moved here seven years ago from Detroit, Mich. He was a member of Waverly Masonic Lodge, Detroit.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; five sisters, Mrs. Vance Walsted and Mrs. Margaret Howard, both of Phoenix, and three from out of state; and two brothers from out of state.
Friends may call at Gibbons Mortuaries, 9702 E. Apache Trail, from 2 to 9 p.m. today. Burial will be in Mountainview Memorial Gardens, 7900 E. Apache Trail.
