Charlevoix native Sandra Ann (Ulrich) Borja, 46, of Warren, died Oct. 10, 1987, in Warren.
Memorial services were held Oct. 13 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sterling Heights. Mrs. Borja was born March 30, 1941, in Charlevoix, the daughter of Alden and Marge Ulrich. She graduated from Charlevoix High School and the University of Michigan. She married Aldo Borja on July 18, 1964, in Charlevoix. She taught elementary school in several Michigan communities including Warren.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sterling Heights. She and her family spent their summers and holidays in Charlevoix.
Survivors include: her husband, Aldo; four children, Mara Skinner of Mount Clemens, twins Valerie and Jeff, and Marcel at home; two grandchildren; her parents, Alden and Marge Ulrich of Charlevoix: a sister, Kay Merrifield of Kodiak, Alaska; a brother, Peter Johnson of Mount Clemens; her grandmother, Anna King of Toledo, Ohio; several uncles and aunts, neices and nephews.
The family suggest memorials to the Bethany Lutheran Church in Charlevoix and St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sterling
