About	Ernest H. Wellin, age 68 of Massilon, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 17, 2012 at his residence. Ernie was born on June 29, 1943 in Ithaca, NY the son of the late Ernest M. and Mary A. (Zammett) Wellin. Ernie was a United States Navy veteran serving from 1961 to 1967. He attended Ithaca College where he received an Associates Degree. Ernie was a member of the F.O.E. # 190 and past commander of AMVETS Post #6. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a longtime fan of the Yankees. He is survived by his sons and their spouses, Michael (Shannon) Wellin of Lexington, OH and Scott (Kelly) Wellin of Dalton; his grandchildren, Anna, Luke, Amy and Katie; and his brothers, Ron Wellin of Canton and Dick Wellin of Trumansburg, NY.
