About	Memorial service for Frederick J.A. Schaefer, 66, of Anniston, will be 11:00 am Monday, April 19, 2010 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Father Bryan Lowe officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 – 7 pm at the church. Mr. Schaefer died Thursday at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Rose Anne Schaefer of Anniston, one son, Francis A. Schaefer of Lansing MI, one sister, Mary Amelia Eldridge of Ithaca, NY, two brothers, Frank Schaefer of Austin, TX and George Schaefer and wife Anne of Mattydale NY. Mr. Schaefer is preceded in death by his parents Frank H. and Mary H. Schaefer. Mr. Schaefer was a native of Trumansburg, NY and a resident of Anniston for the past 7 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Mr. Schaefer was a lieutenant in the navy where he was a Naval Flight Officer and served two terms in Vietnam doing search and rescue. He formed his own company Financial Institution Resources. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Center of Concern, 1029 W 15th Street, Anniston, AL 36201 Arrangements under the direction of Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory, Anniston, Alabama.
