About	David E. Kauppinen Jacksonville - age 68, of Colegrove Road, passed away on December 29, 2017. Born January 31, 1949 in Ithaca, the son of Charles and Pat Kauppinen. He was a 1967 graduate of Trumansburg High School, and had worked at Newport Chevrolet as a mechanic, and in maintenance at Lakeside Nursing Home, Franziska Racker Center and most recently at Juniper Manor in Trumansburg. He is survived by his wife, Susan McConnell; his step son, Michael "Henry" James, and a son, David Kauppinen; a grand daughter, Demi, his friends and neighbors, Dick and Char Waite, and by his cousins, Roger, Karen, Judy and Brenda Koskinen.
